The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division intends to issue a sole source extension for two (2) months to the current ordering period of an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract, 70RFP319DE3000004 with Universal Protective Service DBA Allied Universal Security Services (AUSS) (450 Exchange Irvine, CA 92602). This extension begins 4/1/2024 and will provide continued armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services at a single location in Maryland to allow transition to a new contract to continue critical PSO services at the applicable location. The government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Universal Protective Service DBA Allied Universal Security Services (AUSS), under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be made available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted to sam.gov. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561612 (Security Guards and Patrol Services) and the Small Business Size Standard is $29 million.
