The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division issued a sole source extension of up to six (6) months to the current ordering period of an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract, 70RFP318DE3000003 with Allied Universal Security Services (1551 N. Tustin Ave Suite 650, Santa Ana, CA 92705). This extension begins 04/01/2024 and will provide continued armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services at various locations throughout West Virginia Panhandle and surrounding counties and to allow placement of a new contract to continue critical PSO services at these locations. The government solicited and negotiated on a sole source basis with Allied Universal Security Services, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
