Fire Extinguisher, AED Machine and First Aid Kit Service Contract
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is seeking information from industry to enhance requirements for comprehensive preventive maintenance, inspection, replacement, and mounting services for ABC-type fire extinguishers, automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and first aid kits at its Canine Training Center (CTC). The contractor must provide all licensed personnel, certified technicians, materials, and equipment to ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, and FDA standards. Services cover 60 fire extinguishers, 16 AEDs, and 16 first aid kits across CTC facilities, including CETA trucks and bunker areas. Initial inspection, repair, and replacement of all equipment must be completed within 30 days of contract award, with ongoing replacements within five business days and emergency loaner units provided within 24 hours.
