The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Services is looking to determine is there are qualified small business concerns that can perform inspections and audits on the FPS Megacenters that meet or exceed the standards of UL827 - Central-Station Alarm Services and UL 1981 - Central-Station Automation Systems. The purpose is to obtain compliance certificates for the centers. Vendors must submit documents that demonstrate that they are authorized to provide the compliance certificates. If proposing the use of a standard other than UL, the vendor shall submit documentation that demonstrates that the compliance certificates meets or exceeds the UL standards.
