The U.S. Coast Guard is conducting market research to identify sources capable of performing dry dock repairs on the USCGC Pamlico, a 160-foot Anvil-class inland construction tender currently home ported in New Orleans, LA. The dry dock performance period is scheduled from 9 March 2027 through 18 May 2027, with an RFP anticipated around 28 September 2026 and contract award around 2 February 2028. The tentative work includes hull plating, tank preservation, propeller and shaft work, rudder repairs, cathodic protection, and lead-based paint or asbestos abatement.
