Contracting & Procurement (C&P) awarded a new Task Order, on the basis of other than full and open competition, for the continued delivery of contracting support services. The contractor shall provide support for all phases of the acquisition management lifecycles to include planning, requirements definition, solicitation and contract announcement, strategy development, evaluation, award, post-award management, and other administrative support. Due to a protest, a Bridge Task Order is required on a sole source basis to Reli Group, Inc. as they are the only vendor that can continue performing without a gap in services until a decision is issued by the Government Accountability Office (GAO). Start up efforts will require a new vendor to hire and facilitate vetting which would cover a period of at least three months. A gap in services would result in a disruption of operations for TSA’s C&P which would negatively impact many TSA program offices and TSA’s mission.
