Couches shall be of new construction, meeting standards specified in NAVSEA publication T9640-AC-DSP-010/HAB. Construction must be of modular design to allow for installation in various ships lounges below decks. Upholstery shall be vinyl, Royal Blue in color for the CPO Mess and Grey for SPO Lounge. Frames shall be constructed of aluminum with a powder coated finish in gloss or flat black. Design shall allow for decks underneath the furniture to be accessible via removal of cushions or similar manner in order to provide access to sounding tubes, inspection covers, etc. Dimensions are provided in the drawings supplied. Photos of existing furniture are provided for reference.
