The U.S. Coast Guard is conducting market research through an RFI to identify mature technologies that could strengthen the Coastal Sentinel maritime surveillance capability. Interested parties may submit information for a chance to be among up to ten companies invited to an invitation-only Industry Day on 29 September 2026 in San Diego, California, near Imperial Beach. The event will feature demonstrations, technical presentations, and operator exchanges for selected companies. The Coast Guard seeks technologies in four areas: TAK ecosystem integration, improved maritime tracks and detections, alternatives to traditional long-range EO/IR sensing, and mature full-motion video and computer vision for maritime operations. No budget amounts are specified, and this RFI does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to contract.
