This is a Request for Information (Sources Sought) only, within the guidelines of Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 10 as a means of Market Research to determine the potential availability of required services - Canine Kennel Services, for possible future acquisition actions. The requirements are contained in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Los Angeles/Long Beach (LA/LB) Seaport is responsible for the largest port in the nation. CBP canines are used in the field on a daily basis. These canines are in need of kenneling for periods of time when the handler is unable to care for the canine. Due to the large area of responsibility, the Seaport Canine Unit will need facilities located throughout the area to maintain the best operational readiness for our Canine Teams. All responses shall be reviewed, however the primary location is within 5 miles of the Murrieta Border Patrol Station in Murrieta, California.
