U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is conducting market research to gain a greater understanding of the full range of available options to support the need for an Electronic Health Records (eHR) system. This should include the selection, configuration, and implementation of an application (or suite of applications) that provides a one-stop capability for CBP Medical Services Contractor to document medical conditions and medical care for persons in CBP’s care or custody at medical units within border processing facilities. This is an RFI released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 – Research and Part 15.201(e). This RFI’s purpose is to obtain market information on viable sources, industry practices, and industry comments. The anticipated NAICS codes for this effort are 513210 - Applications development and publishing, except on a custom basis, and 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services.
