The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division (FPSAD) is seeking information regarding vendors (under NAICS 561612) who can provide armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services at federally leased or owned facilities. Specifically, FPSAD is looking at potential vendors who have performed armed PSO efforts in the last three years that were approximately 539,000 annual hours. Vendors must be fully licensed in Washington D C to perform this type of service, possess a secret facility clearance, and shall be registered on the sam.gov website. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFP/RFQ in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply of service whatsoever. Further, FPS is not at this time seeking proposals/quotations and will not accept unsolicited proposals/quotations. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to the RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP/RFQ, if any is issued. Interested parties are directed to respond to this RFI and provide a response on its capabilities. Responses are due no later than 3:00 pm EST on February 14, 2022. Responses or any questions regarding this RFI shall be sent to Nathanael Swamy (Nathanael.Swamy@fps.dhs.gov) and Corey Parkes (Corey.Parkes@fps.dhs.gov) indicating the RFI number in the subject line. This RFI is only intended for the Government to identify sources that can provide the needed services to fulfill the Government's statement of objectives. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. The Government has not made a commitment to procure any of the RFI requirements discussed, and release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
