The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement and requesting quotations for the following part: Item 1) housing bearing unit NSN: 3130 01 442 2863 MFG: Bollinger shipyards QTY: 4 ea P/N 5686719 MANUFACTURE, INSPECT, PACKAGE AND MARK BEARING HOUSINGS IAW ATTACHED SPECIFICATION P-161-0417. FINAL ASSEMBLY SHALL INCLUDE ITEMS 2, 8, 9, AND 26 IAW DRAWING 110CWPB-161-005. A COAST GUARD QUALITY ASSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE WILL VERIFY DIMESIONAL AND PACKAGING CONFORMANCE AT THE CONTRACTOR'S PLANT IAW P-161-0417. INDIVIDUALLY PACKAGED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MIL-STD-2073-1E METHOD 10, CUSHIONED IN A DOUBLE LAYER OF 3/4 IN BUBBLE WRAP AND PACKED IN AN APPROPRIATELY SIZED ASTM-D5118 DOUBLE-WALL FIBERBOARD BOX. FAILURE TO MEET THE PACKING, PACKAGING, MARKING AND BAR CODING REQUIREMENTS WILL RESULT IN WAREHOUSE REJECTION AND ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED BACK TO VENDOR. MARKING IAW MIL-STD-129R EXCEPT BAR CODED IAW ISO/IEC-16388-2007, CODE 39 SYMBOLOGY The items are used on various US Coast Guard vessels. All items will be individually packaged and marked IAW SP-PP&M-001. Inspection and acceptance shall take place at Destination after verification of preservation, individual packaging and marking requirements and confirmation of no damage during transit. Failure to comply with packaging requirements will result in rejection and nonpayment. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center, Baltimore MD.
