The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center intends to issue a Commercial Combined Synopsis/Solicitation as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Dry Dock Repair of USCG Station (STA) Ponce De Leon (45772). The acquisition will be set-aside for Small Businesses. The Coast Guard intends to conduct the procurement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and, FAR Par 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Methods. The acquisition will be issued as a Best Value, RFQ. This Requirement will be evaluated using past performance as an evaluation factor. The standard NAICS is 336611. All work will be performed at the contractor’s facility. The performance period will be seventy (70) calendar days with a start date on or about 21 January 2021. GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTION: Hull number 45772 is restricted to an area no greater than 60 nautical miles from the boat's home station (New Smyrna Beach FL), on navigable waterways, and no greater than 50 miles offshore. Home Station: USCG STA Ponce De Leon Inlet 29999 N Peninsula Ave. New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169. The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation will be issued as a RFQ via the beta.SAM.gov web page at https://beta.sam.gov/ . It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the beta.SAM.gov web page for the RFQ release and all subsequent amendments. beta.SAM.gov also contains an option for automation notification service. Hard copies of the specification and RFQ will not be issued. A CD-ROM containing all applicable drawings will be sent via U.S. mail or e-mail, if requested.
