Description: The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Long Range Enforcer Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to MTU America Inc. for the following service: 1. Coolant Pump with Test Cert. 3.1 PN 5842003301/87 MTU America Inc. is the OEM for manufacturing/maintenance of the engines and possess the technical data and/or drawings pertaining to the ability to provide this part. This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC MUNRO. Vendor will provide the part listed above. NAICS Code # 333611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0900 AUGUST 12TH, 2019 PST will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
