Shore Tie replacement at Station Venice, La Description(s): The contractor shall complete the work listed for the WPB Shore Tie at US Coast Guard Station Venice located at 436 Coast Guard Rd. Venice, LA 70091. The current WPB shore tie is not working properly. There is no power at the shore tie or in the transformer box located next to the shore tie receptacle box. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, please read this entire notice, the instructions herein, and the attachment documents carefully. 36.204: Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $10,000.00 and 25,000.00. HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this project, interested parties must demonstrate that they are qualified to perform the work. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible contractor whose proposal is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Offer (LPTA). Please Note: Only the lowest priced offer will be evaluated for technical acceptability. If the lowest priced offer is found not to be technically acceptable, then the next lowest priced offer will be evaluated. This process will continue until a technically acceptable offer is identified; all offers may not be evaluated.
