A0001: Amendment to Solicitation: The purpose of this Amendment is to post the questions and answers received for all vendors. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotations number is 70Z0G824PBNCR0005 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-05 dated August 08, 2023. The NAICS Code is 444180. The small business size standard is $32.5M. This is a total small business set-aside. Prospective Offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and any amendments. It is the offeror’s responsibility to monitor Sam.Gov website for the release of any amendments to this solicitation. The purchase order will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. Packing Requirements: All items are to be individually packed and marked. Acceptable method of the package is commercial packaging defined as the way items are packaged, sold, and shipped to the public over the counter providing it is package IAW Coast Guard “Unit of Issue.” Quantities of smaller items (bolts/screws) can be multi-packed providing it is correctly marked and clearly displays the total quantity per package and the unit of issue. Marking Requirements: All packages, boxes or containers shall be clearly marked / labeled in clear lettering with the following nomenclature: Stock Number (if applicable), Part Number(s), Purchase Order / Contract Number, and Unit of Issue. Preparation for Delivery: All material shipped must be accompanied by an itemized packing list securely attached to the outside of the package. All packing lists shall cite the Purchase Order Number with the package in such a manner as to provide identification. Material shall be packed for shipment in such manner as to afford adequate protection to the item against corrosion, deterioration, and physical damage. All packages shall have the Purchase Order Number, Stock Number (if applicable), Vendor Name, and Part Number(s) clearly marked on the exterior of the package.
