Local Area Set-Aside This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, 70Z0G321QPB206600, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular ***2021-03***. This solicitation is a local area set-aside under NAICS 238990, Scaffold Erecting and Dismantling, with a small business size standard is $16.5 million. Lopez; (510) 437-3204; marco.a.lopez@uscg.mil Line Item 1: Contractor shall erect scaffolding on 24 May 2021 on the SPQ-9B antenna platform of CGC BERTHOLF (USCG Vessel) 109’ above the ship’s base line, positioned 10’ in height from the SPQ-9B antenna platform but no higher than 1’ below the top of the antenna to allow for shipboard personnel to reach the antenna from the scaffolding. Scaffolding shall be positioned to enable free and clear lifting of the SPQ-9B antenna array from the platform with scaffolding in place. Contractor shall dismantle and remove scaffolding on 28 May 2021. The contractor shall be responsible for crane requirements needed to erect and dismantle the scaffolding, including the operations of the crane. Period of Performance: 24-28 May 2021. Place of Performance: CGC BERTHOLF, USCG Base Alameda, Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA, 94501.
