Please see Notice ID: 70Z0G122BABCD0040, Notice Type: Original Solicitation. __________________________________________________________________________ The United States Coast Guard, Civil Engineering Unit Providence (USCG CEUP), has a requirement for Airfield Pavement Repairs at USCG Base Cape Cod, Buzzards Bay, MA (Barnstable County). The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and disposal required to complete the following repairs: Runway 14-32 Base Bid: 2.5” asphalt concrete mill and overlay, 120’ on center for the length of the asphalt portion of the runway and repainting all pavement markings across the runway (Approximately 89K SY of pavement and 154 SF of pavement marking) Option Item: 2.5” asphalt concrete mill and overlay, remaining width for the length of the asphalt portion of the runway (Approximately 20K SY of pavement) Option Item: PCC slab replacement and joint sealant at the PCC section of the runway that intersects Taxiway Delta (Approximately 2.4K SY of slab replacement, and 1K LF of joint sealant) Fixed and Rotary Wing Apron Base Bid: Joint sealant repair and partial depth patching of rigid pavement on the Fixed Wing Hangar Apron (Approximately 11K LF of joint sealant and 150 SF of patching) Option Item: PCC partial slab replacement, depth patching of rigid pavement, resealing of joints, crack repairs, and repainting pavement markings at the Rotary Wing Hangar Apron (Approximately 400 SF of slab replacement, 200 SF of patching, 2K LF of joint sealant, 2K LF of crack repair, and 1K SF of pavement marking) Taxiway Delta Option Item: 2” asphalt concrete mill and overlay at various sections across the taxiway and repainting pavement markings (Approximately 9K SY of pavement and 1K SF of pavement marking) A solicitation for this requirement will be posted, along with the specifications and drawings, to SAM.gov on or about 21 April 2022. Sealed bidding procedures, in accordance with FAR part 14, will be utilized. The date set for bid opening is 23 May 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Bids must be valid for a minimum of 60 days. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction; Small Business Size Standard is $39.5 million. The estimated price range of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The period of performance is 160 days for the base bid and up to 250 days, if all options are exercised. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted on SAM.gov. Offerors are required to acknowledge all amendments with their bids.
