The United States Coast Guard has a requirement for Architect/Engineering Planning services required to conduct an Optimization Study of the CG Shipyard in Baltimore, MD. The scope of work (SOW) includes major product line industrial processes and associated facilities, and necessary utilities at CG YARD Baltimore, MD required to meet the current mission of maintaining current and future USCG assets. This project requires that the Planning Services Contractor (PSC) provide industrial engineering, systems engineering, facility engineering, and facility planning expertise to deliver a comprehensive modern shipyard facility layout plan for the CG YARD that optimizes current and future workload resulting in a higher throughput of depot level work. The plan shall include process efficiencies aligned to facility layout and proximities based on current processes and projected future workload. The plan should address what an optimized shipyard layout should be to support depot level maintenance.
