This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR Parts 14 and 19. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5 Million. The Product Service Code is Z2PZ, Repair or Alteration of Other Non-Building Facilities. The estimated cost range of this project is between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000. The period of performance is 280 days. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 4 March 2019. The date set for bid opening is 9 April 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Bids must be valid for a minimum of 60 days. Base Scope of Work Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and disposal required for: Repairs to timber wave screening; Repairs to deteriorated concrete pier foundations; Demolition of a floating dock and Installation of a new floating dock; Repairs to electrical distribution lines; and Recoating of existing floating dock steel guide piles. Optional Items may include: Repairs to scour under concrete bulkhead; Repairs to existing timber piers and piling; Demolition of floating docks; and Installation of new floating docks. The work will be completed at USCG Sector Long Island Sound, New Haven, CT (New Haven County).
