This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5 Million. The Product Service Code is Z2BZ, Repair or Alteration of Other Airfield Structures. The estimated cost range of this project is between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000. The period of performance is 488 days. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 16 May 2019. Bid opening is 18 June 2019 at 2:00 p.m. local time Warwick, RI. Base Scope of Work The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and disposal required for repairs to the fixed-wing hangar (FWH) to include: replace missing bolts in building frame; replace hangar door outriggers; replace damaged wall and roof flashing; repair and improve hangar doorframes; provide additional wind-clips to existing standing lean-to standing seam roof areas; provide additional wall girts; and cleaning, priming and repainting structural elements. Optional Bid Items are repairs to the rotary wing hangar (RWH) to include: replace missing bolts in main building frame; replace hangar door outriggers; replace damaged wall and roof flashing; repair and improve hangar doorframes; provide additional wind-clips to existing standing lean-to standing seam roof areas; provide additional wall girts; and cleaning, priming and repainting structural elements. The work will be completed at USCG Air Station Clearwater, Clearwater, FL (Pinellas County).
