The United States Coast Guard, Civil Engineering Unit – Providence, has a construction requirement to Repair Waterfront Marginal Floating Docks at STA New York. This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR Parts 14 and 19. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 Million. The Product Service Code is Z2PZ. The estimated cost range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The period of performance is 215 days. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 8 July 2022. The tentative date set for bid opening is 11 August 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Bids must be valid for a minimum of 60 days. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue on this website: http://www.sam.gov (formerly fbo.gov). Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted on this website (sam.gov). Offerors are required to acknowledge with their bids any and all amendments. Vendors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management database through www.SAM.gov in order to receive a federal government contract. Scope of Work Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and disposal required to replace the existing marginal floating docks C, D and E with new floating docks; remove and reinstall the existing shore ties on the new floating docks; replace the shore tie electrical lines on the new floating docks; and replace multiple steel thru-rods, timer wales, and timber rubstrips throughout the remainder of the marginal floating docks as specified and shown in the contract documents OBI#1: Marginal Floating Docks: Recoat the existing marginal floating dock A, B, C, D, and E guide piles (6 EA) as specified and shown in the Contract Documents. OBI #2: Marginal Floating Docks: Install sacrificial anodes on the existing marginal floating dock A, B, C, D and E guide piles (6 EA) as specified and shown in Contact Documents. OBI#3: Boarding (Refueling) Floating Dock: Replace the plastic rubstrips and gangway roller as specified and shown in the Contract Documents.
