This is a presolicitation notice, IAW FAR Part 5.101, for a noncommerical Request for Proposal. This requirement will be subject to FAR Clause 52.225-11: One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. Definitization of equitable adjustments: will be processed in accordance with 52.243-4 Changes. The Government contemplates a single award for a firm fixed price contract. The USCG is soliciting for the construction of three new duplex type housing units and an optional bid item for a maintenance support building. Housing units will located in a newly developed neighborhood on lots purchased and owned by the U.S. Government. Work includes all typical trades for new housing construction to include earthwork, utilities, and services. The duplex buildings consist of units that contain either 3 or 4 bedrooms and are typical in configuration and layout. There is one 4 bedroom duplex that incorporates ADA accessibility design features for both units. The maintenance building consists of a shop area and office area with restroom facilities.
