The USCG issued a Request for Information for market research only, not a solicitation or promise to issue an RFP. It seeks to identify companies capable of manufacturing a pair of replacement hangar doors with associated tracks and operator for the USCGC HEALY. The door system must fill an existing 17’-0” x 18’-0” hangar opening, allow transit of an H-60 helicopter with folding rotor and tail variant without obstruction, and operate in Arctic conditions.
