Inactive Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

The United States Coast Guard requires the inspection and potential overhaul of specific Electro Motive Diesel (EMD) Blade and Fork Power Pack Kits for the EMD 8-567-RC POST-FRAM Diesel Engine, using only genuine Marine Systems Inc. OEM parts and certified technicians. Vendors must be authorized Marine Systems Inc. repair facilities and provide written documentation proving this authorization. The work is a brand-name requirement under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), and award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination to the USCG SFLC Receiving Room in Baltimore, MD 21226, with deliveries accepted Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and 1:00 pm. The contractor is responsible for notifying the Contracting Officer at least ten days prior to being ready for any required Quality Assurance inspections.
