USCGC HEALY requires inspection, overhaul, and testing of two relief valves (PN S8LJE-02RF1-03RF1-SS-H2-TB), with performance at the contractor’s facility. The contractor must disassemble/clean, inspect hard parts, submit a Condition Found Report, replace all soft goods with OEM parts, machine/lap seats as needed, reassemble, and perform hydrostatic, seat leakage, and pop testing with a certified test report. The Coast Guard will furnish and ship the valves to the contractor, and the contractor must return them to USCG Base Seattle via two-day delivery. Period of performance is within 15 days from award, and potential repairs based on the CFR are not to exceed $1,500. Additional repairs beyond the base scope require written authorization from the Contracting Officer via contract modification.
