The Coast Guard seeks a commercial contractor to replace manual fire pulls connecting the Engineering Control Center to the CO2 systems for Generator Rooms 1 and 2 aboard USCGC HEALY, including fire watch, welding/NDE, protective measures, rip-out, installation, testing, insulation repair, and touch-up preservation. Work will be performed while the cutter is alongside the pier at Coast Guard Base Seattle, 1539 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA, during the period 01 Oct 2026 through 31 Oct 2026. A ship-check is highly recommended, and the cutter will be available 21–25 Sep 2026 in Seattle for inspection of cable routing and interferences. The contractor must provide a Kidde-certified factory technician and comply with applicable SFLC specifications, including a Fire Prevention Plan and an initial pull station plan. A potential repairs CLIN is not to exceed $16,000, with any additional work authorized only by the contracting officer via written modification.
