The contractor will perform on-board inspection, measurement, fabrication, and installation of mounting hardware and a new pneumatic actuator for the gas turbine blow-in door on USCGC MIDGETT at 400 Sand Island Pkwy, Honolulu, HI 96819. Work includes diagnosing recurring actuator binding/bent-shaft issues, repairing the door locking and linkage system, and supporting Coast Guard operational testing. The contractor must be a certified distributor or approved service partner of Parker Hannafin Corporation for the relevant Altair filter system and demonstrate experience with pneumatic actuators and mechanical door closures. On-site work is anticipated to require approximately three 10-hour workdays, with preferred performance dates of 24–28 AUG 2026 and an acceptable window of 20–31 AUG 2026; final documentation is due within two weeks after repairs. Deliverables include an inspection/condition found report, repair documentation, as-built drawings, parts list, functional test results, and a final service summary with maintenance recommendations.
