The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) is seeking responses from industry to determine capability and interest in performing the Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) US Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) Munro Dock Side Availability. NAICS Code for this requirement: 336611 – Ship Building and Repairing FSC Code for this requirement: J999 – Non-Nuclear Ship Repair (West) Size Standard: 1,300 Employees. The anticipated Request for Proposal (RFP) release date is September 2025 and will result in the award of one (1) Requirements contract with Firm-Fixed Priced Task Orders covering an ordering period of 22DEC2025 to 16JUN2026. The first task order period of performance is anticipated to be ordered from within a few days of Requirements contract award and have a period of performance of 20FEB26-16APR26. Background Information: The USCGC Munro is a 418 foot cutter homeported in Alameda, CA at 1 Eagle RD, Alameda, CA, 94501. Significant work items are: Deck Covering (Slip-Resistant) Flight Deck, Renew Tenting (Flight Deck), Provide Talon Grid (Type 18-08), Inspect and Test Tanks (Ballast), Clean and Inspect Tanks (MP Fuel Storage and Overflow), Clean and Inspect Tanks (Aviation Fuel Stowage and Overflow), Clean and Inspect Fire Detection System, Inspect and Test Refrigeration Plant, System Groom Deck Covering (Carpet), Renew Deck Covering (Polymeric), Repair and Seal Decks, Preserve (Full) Valves, Renew Dual Point Davit, Modify HVAC and Chilled Water System, Modify Permanent Berthing, Modify (Phase 2) Fire Prevention, Provide Interested parties shall submit a capability statement that includes the following: 1) The following company information: a) Point of Contact name, address, email address and phone number, b) CAGE Code and DUNS number, and c) indicate if large or small business concern; if a small business, state the category of small business, such as 8(a), HUBZone, Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; 2) Description of firm’s qualifications and capabilities relevant to fulfilling the above requirement; and, 3) Past performance information that demonstrates successful completion as a prime contractor of projects similar in scope and complexity to the work items above.
