The Intent 1.1 is as follows. 1.1 Intent. This work item describes the requirements for the Contractor to renew designated Bilge and Ballast piping, located in the Barge (Compartment 3-19-0-E). Please clarify. There is no 3-19-0-E in barge only on tug. - CG Response: Revised Specification (Rev-1, dated 28 May 2024). Updates to WI 67 to reflect that for the barge and not the tender as well as some clean up corrections in the Spec (Revision table shows changes). Quotes are due 11 June 2024 by 1:00PM EST. COMBINED SYNOPSIS/ SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart12.6, supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2024-04 effective 1 May 2024. This requirement is being solicited as a total small business set aside using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The NAICS Code is 336611 – Ship Repair with a small business size standard of 1,300 employees. The solicitation number is 70Z08524QIBCT0017. SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: See Attachment 1. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary facilities, labor, materials, services, equipment, supplies, power, accessories, special tools, and such other things as are necessary to perform various dry dock Repairs of the USCGC BRISTOL BAY (WTGB), a 140-foot Bay Class Cutter and 120-foot ATON Barge, all in exact accordance with this solicitation and the attached specification. See Attachment 2. CONTRACT TYPE: This solicitation is a request for quotes (RFQ) that will result in the award of a firm fixed price contract solicited under FAR PART 12 and FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, subject to the availability of funds. CONTRACT PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The performance period for this requirement is from 9 July 2024 through 1 October 2024. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The place of performance is the Contractor’s Facilities.
