PR# 52000PR230000395 Description of Supplies or Services: The scope of this contract is defined by the efforts and tools required to support USCGC CLAMP. The Contractor shall supply the required part identified needed to replace the faulty part, and return the system to full functionality. Repairs may be deemed necessary and the local unit may require assistance with troubleshooting the system. Ultimately, the goal is to re-establish confidence in the USCGC CLAMP’s fire system by restoring functionality and reliability. This is a critical need and shall be completed as soon as possible, in order to minimize negative operational impact to CLAMP Operational Commander. Once these goals are achieved, the Coast Guard will apply lessons learned to update documentation and meet the needs of other WLIC assets in the event of future PLC/system failures. This part must be sent to the USCGC CLAMP, currently located at 3000 FT PT RD. GALVESTON TX 77550 CGC CLAMP need the services to functioning fire system for the Safe to Sail. Delays in resolving this problem will result in significant impacts to their operational commander.
