This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine interest and capability of potential businesses. The information obtained from this notice is for market research only and will be used to determine the method of procurement including whether to set-aside the requirement for small business or other set-aside programs. The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) is seeking qualified sources to maintain and continue to stock the SFLC Warehouse inventory of various wire rope for multiple product lines which will be distributed to the fleet. These wire rope assemblies are used on USCG SFLC Buoy, Construction Tenders, Polar Class Ice Breakers, High Endurance, Medium Endurance, Patrol Boat and Small Boat platforms for various weight handling operations. An Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multiple award delivery order contract with a base and four (4) ordering periods is anticipated for award. The NAICS Code is 332618 and the small business size standard is 1250 employees. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: TBD All interested parties must submit the following: Company name, business size status (I.e., small, large, 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, etc. ) Statement of capability to perform same or similar work to the above support, to include product availability Any relevant past performance information to demonstrate successful completion as prime contractor of projects with similar scope and complexity to the support requested above.
