No solicitation package is available and telephone requ... NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT TO A SOLE SOURCE This Notice of Intent is not a request for quote. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The United States Coast Guard intends to solicit to a sole source award to L3Harris Technologies, Inc. to provide grooms, configuration management and technical support to the Machinery Plant Control and Monitoring System (MPCMS) and related sub-systems onboard WLB-225 A Class, WLB-225 B Class, and WLM-175 class vessels utilizing a proprietary TANO product line which consists of the system network and source code (see attached J&A). The duration of this contract will be 5 years from date of award. The award will be FOB Destination, with delivery orders to be fulfilled within sixty (60) calendar days of receipt from the Government. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
