Vessel: USCGC ALEX HEALY Ship to: 99619, KODIAK AK Period of Performance: Primary Aug 9th-13th Secondary Aug 16th-20th This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotations number is 70Z0-8521-Q-P30K5700 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-65 dated January 29, 2013. The NAICS Code is 336611. The small business size standard is 1250. This is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. All responses from interested vendors must be received on/before 0800 Pacific Time, August 3rd 2021, and will be reviewed by the Government. The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center has a requirement for the following services/parts: The Cutter requires completion of semiannual testing and maintenance of all installed fire protection systems per the referenced Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs). Cutter has two installed CO2 fire protections system consisting of two 100lb CO2 bottles used for the Cutter’s paint locker and flammable storage space, one CO2 fire protection system consisting of 21 100lb CO2 bottles used for the Cutter’s main and auxiliary machinery room spaces, and one aqueous potassium carbonate (APC) range guard protection system installed in the Cutter’s galley. Cutter’s two 100lb CO2 bottles in the paint locker require installation and pull handle reset. Cutter received two new 100lb CO2 bottles without discharge heads or required O-rings for installation in paint locker. Cutter has discharge heads, but no O-rings for CO2 installed fire protection system in paint locker. Scope. Conduct all required testing, inspections, and maintenance per the above reference MPC cards on the Cutter’s three installed CO2 systems and single APC system. Install both CO2 bottles and reset pull cable station for paint locker CO2 installed fire protection system. Provide all documentation of completion of work. Objective.
