This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. Past performance will be considered in the selection of the awarded vendor. The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center has a requirement for the following: 1.1 Intent. Service Description Aftercooler Cleaning The Contractor shall clean and test the aftercooler and provide all cleaning solvent, rags, primer and all necessary items for the cleaning. Heat Exchanger The Contractor shall add cleaning solvent to the engine heat exchanger, clean, drain, and flush the system. Load Bank Testing The Contractor shall conduct a load bank test in the presence of the Coast Guard Inspector and provide all results and recommendations. The generator is rated for 1,360 kW. That is 100% rated load 2. The Contractor shall provide the services of a certified Tech Rep, who is familiar with the Caterpillar SSDG (Model No. 3512B). 3.1.2.1 Ensure the Tech Rep has a résumé of demonstrated experience with the system/equipment stated above. 4.
