The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) is seeking certified HUBZone small-business contractors capable of providing all labor, equipment, and materials to perform the maintenance and repair of the USCGC HEALY during a dockside of the vessel at her homeport at 1519 Alaskan Way S., Seattle, WA 98134. The solicitation will be issued under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued in August 2019. The anticipated start date will be 07January2020 with an anticipated end date of 03April2020. NAICS Code for this requirement: 336611 - Ship Building and Repairing FSC Code for this requirement: J999 - Non-Nuclear Ship Repair (West) Size Standard: 1,250 Employees This procurement is set-aside 100% for HUBZone small businesses. A draft copy of the Specifications is attached. Certified as a US or Canadian contractor by the Joint Certification Program (JCP) administered by the Defense Logistic Information Service (DLIS). Instructions and procedures for being certified by JCP can be found at http://www.dla.mil/HQ/InformationOperations/Offers/Products/LogisticsApplications/JCP.aspx .Current certification by JCP is required to be granted access to these packages by the USCG. ii. Complete the DHS 11000-6 Non-Disclosure Agreement form (attached). iii. Interested Offerors there is a scheduled a ship check for 28August to 01September 2019 in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. Please follow the following to attend: INSPECTION OF CUTTER PRIOR TO SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS The objective of a ship check is to provide vendors the opportunity to physically witness and make inquiries about the USCGC HEALY before submitting a proposal. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to visit the Cutter and visually inspect each item of work and to become acquainted with conditions, locations of items and fixtures, removals, replacements, interference and the nature of work. Costs of attendance are solely born by the attendee/s. Note that the USCGC HEALY may not be available for ship checks and the Government is not liable for any cancellations or change in availability dates.
