PERIOD OF PRFORMANCE 1/23/2020-1/25/2020 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE DUTCH HARBOR, AK 99692 REQUIREMENTS: CGC MELLON suffered a small fuel fire on the #1 MDE. AFFF was used in the crew’s effort to combat the casualty. Currently MELLON’s engine room requires cleaning of AFFF off all equipment into the bilge, followed by removal of all contaminated liquids from the bilge and a bilge clean. Clean off all equipment, deck plates, and surrounding structure via pressure washer into Cutter’s bilge Offload oily contaminated water and dispose of IAW Federal Regulations. Offload to be conducted via pump and contractor’s hose to tank/truck. The installed piping on MELLON may be used to pump out the dirty oil tank. We are estimating the amount of oily water to be off loaded at 7000 gallons. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotations number is 70Z085-20-Q-P4561400 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-65 dated January 29, 2013. The NAICS Code is 336611. The small business size standard is 1250. This is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5.
