The vendor will supply the Engineering and drafting labor necessa... 1. Background: This requirement is for the acquisition and installation of new dry goods shelving for the ship's dry stores. Scope: 1. The vendor will supply the Engineering and drafting labor necessary to design and detail the fabrication drawings for the storage rack and shelving. These drawings will be supplied to CUTTER/SHIP personnel for approval prior to starting fabrication. 2. The dimensions of the rack will be 30" deep x 120" long x 108" tall with 5 adjustable shelves 30" deep x 120" long. 3. The 12ga steel shelves will be formed with a 2" tall parameter lip on all sides and include an adjustable shelf partition. 4. The rack frame will be fabricated with 6ea-9ft tall posts or columns made from perforated 2" square tubing. 5. Each posts will be bolted to a floor mount and these mounts will be welded directly to the floor deck. The entire rack can be unbolted from the floor mounts and moved if needed. 6. The rack will include cargo lock bars and mounts on the front of each shelf. 7. All rack components will be powder coated gray after fabrication and all connections except for the welding will be made using zinc plated 3/8" grade 5 bolts. 8.
