This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. Past performance will be considered in the selection of the awarded vendor. The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center has a requirement for the following: Ships Service Generator Power Management System Contractor Provide Service Technician to travel to USCGC WAESCHE home port. CTR to perform thorough internal and external inspection of the #1 SSDG Power Management System as needed. CTR will assist the USCGC WAESCHE in identifying root cause of the SSDG inability to correctly provide electrical power. The CG will also try to have a CAT tech rep on site at the same time. CTR will provide the following: CTR will provide all tools (i.e. diagnostic software, borescope, etc.) deemed necessary to complete thorough inspection. Conduct thorough external and internal inspection of the 1 SSDG Power Management System. CTR shall work with onsite Caterpillar tech rep as needed. Conduct an Operational inspection of the 1 SSDG Power Management System. under supervision of CG Senior Technicians CTR will submit a CFR with detailed inspection results to SFLC LRE AMS OAKLAND and recommended course of action and list of parts needed to affect repairs to WAESCHE's #1 SSDG Power Management System POP: 29 July - 02 August 2019 Place of Performance: On board cutter at Coast Guard Island Alameda CA INTERESTED VENDORS PLEASE SEND OFFICIAL QUOTE, WITH A SAM.GOV REGISTERED DUNS NUMBER, AND EMAIL TO ANTHONY.J.ANDALUZ@USCG.MIL
