This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotations number is 70Z08519QP45F5300 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. The NAICS Code is 336611. The Small Business Size Standard is 1250. This is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. **For purposes of evaluation and award, Past Performance is considered to be more important than Price. The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center has a requirement for the following: COAST GUARD CUTTER MELLON DESCRIPTION: Overhaul of 2 Each Steam Pressure Regulating Valves. Coast Guard will arrange shipment of the valves to the vendor. It is expected that the vendor will possess the knowledge, expertise, tools and equipment to perform this work. Valve Identification: Manufacturer Leslie PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE SPEC. MIL-V-17848 CLASS A ASSEMBLY DWG NO. 12435N Serial # M5038-1FNG ADJ. SET PRESS. PSI 10-65 MIL-V-1784 CLASS A ANSI RATING 150 SIZE 2.5 CLASS LN-3 1. Disassemble inspect both valves. 2. Restore Main valve body to Manufacturer original specification like new condition. If body is wasted beyond repair please submit Condition Found report with recommendations. 3. Vendor provide the following new parts: 2 EA Diaphragm PC#8 P/N N04552 2 EA CV & Seat Set PC#9 P/N N57700 2 EA CV Spring PC#11 P/N N04930 2 EA TC Gasket PC#16 P/N N0909967 2 EA Piston Rings PC#18 P/N N03362 2 EA Cylinder Liner PC#19 P/N N11209 2 EA Seat Ring PC#21 P/N N094480058 2 EA Main Valve Plug PC#22 P/N N477000057 2 EA MV Spring PC#23 P/N N09087 2 EA BC Gasket PC#24 P/N N0910067 4. Insure all of the above fit correctly. 5. Reassemble valve according Leslie standards. 6. Test the newly assemble valve and provide written results to the Coast Guard contracting Officer. 7. The vendor has a choice to providing return shipping when work is completed or notify the Coast Guard for shipping arrangements.
