This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. This is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. Past performance will be considered in the selection of the awarded vendor. The United States Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center has a requirement for the following: 1. Background. This requirement is for FMSNA to provide all parts and TECH services to replace the INOP F/O injection pump onboard the CGC OSAGE. 2. Scope. The scope of this work is on the USCGC OSAGE. 3. Objective. The objective of this requirement is for a certified IF Tech to provide all parts needed to replace the F/O injection pump. 4. Tasks. The contractor shall provide onboard engineering services to replace the injection pump on the NR1 MDE include but are not limited to: 4.1. Removal and instillation of new pump. 4.2. Provide new F/O injection and all gaskets that are needed. 4.3. Return engine to operational status IAW all manufactures Technical Specifications . 5. Delivery. Contractor shall provide a final report within 3 days of contract period of performance. 6. Government furnished property. None. 7. Security Requirement. None. 8. Place of performance- CGC OSAGE, Sewickley PA, 15143. 9. Period of performance-Will be determined once awarded, parts have to be ordered from Italy. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Each Offeror shall furnish the information required by the solicitation, which includes: Section 1: Price Quote including cost breakdown. Section 2: Past Performance / References Proposal (This section should include the offerors completed representations and certifications.); and Section 3: Any issued amendments to the solicitation.
