The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Long Range Enforcer - Contracts & Procurement Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding SOLE SOURCE procurement to Precise Finishing Systems. 1. Contractor will be responsible for providing a technical representative certified by Precise Finishing Systems to troubleshoot cause of excessive filter replacement on USCGC HAMILTON and develop viable repair plan. Technical representative will perform, at a minimum, the following: 1. Inspect FOCM, prefilters, filter housing and piping system to determine cause of excessive differential pressure and particulate. 2. Analyze overall FOCM performance at high handle positions (9+) as cutter operations allow. 3. Provide/hand carry new FOCM housing and install. 4. Develop a detailed trip report documenting any findings/recommendations and provide it to the cutter and SFLC points of contact. 5. Provide Marine Chemist to certify space safe for any welding/hot work as defined in NSTM. Use of Coast Guard Gas Free Engineers is NOT authorized. (PRECISE FNISHING SYSTEMS is the OEM for this service.). Period of Performance is: 06/06/2019 - 06/09/2019 CGC Hamilton is a NSC. Vendor will provide all labor and parts listed in the Schedule. NAICS Code 332999 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 AM PST 17MAY2019 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
