*** SEE ATTACHMENT FOR FULL TEXT NOTICE *** This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION, not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. Pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research), the purpose of this notice is to: (1) Determine if sources capable of satisfying the agency's requirements exists, (2) Determine if commercial items suitable to meet the agency's needs are available or could be modified to meet the agency's requirements; and (3) Determine the commercial practices of company's engaged in providing the needed service or supply. Pursuant to FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 19, competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research. This notice in no way obligates the Government to any further action. This notice is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Oakland, CA to identify sources capable of providing the following: USCGC WILLIAM TATE (WLM 560) DOCKSIDE FY 2020 SPECIFICATION: Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, services, equipment, supplies, power, accessories, special tools and such other things as are necessary to perform DOCKSIDE maintenance to the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) WILLIAM TATE (WLM 560) – an oceangoing 175 foot (Keeper Class) buoy tender. See separate Attachment for preliminary Specifications, which may be incomplete. (Subject to change at the discretion of the Government). GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTION: N/A PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Cutter's Homeport 1 Washington Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19147 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: See attached USCGC WILLIAM TATE (WLM 175) DS FY20 Specification REV0. ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 11 August 2020 through 22 September 2020 (Subject to change at the discretion of the Government). If the company is unable to meet this period of performance, it is incumbent upon the company to propose an alternative 42 calendar day period of performance.
