Description: The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Ice Breaker and Buoy Tender Patrol Class, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to Allied Systems Company for the following services/parts: Anti-2-Block kit, tech rep to install/set up kit Allied Systems Company is the OEM of the parts/service requirements for installation . As the original manufacturer of the system they maintain the proprietary rights to the data to effect repairs and provide needed part, which makes them the sole source. The OEM has limited the availability of proprietary information. This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC WEDGE. Vendor will provide all the parts/services listed above. NAICS Code # 336611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 PST 13 Mar 2019 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to Allied Systems Company.
