This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Subpart 13.5 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (A) The solicitation number is 70Z08424QDL940031 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted). This requirement is for the U.S Coast Guard to provide a name brand Forklift: LIFTKING Lo-Pro Rough Terrain Forklift Model LAF10 per the USCG Port Security Unit baseline list. (B) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-05. (C) This acquisition is issued as Unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 333924. The type of contract is a FIRM FIXED PRICE. (D) Description/Statement of Work/Specification: Please refer to attachment – Statement of Work (SOW) (E) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance: Purchase Order must start within 60 days of accepting award. The place of performance for this service is USCG Port Security 311, 1001 S. Seaside Ave, BLDG 37, San Pedro Ca 90731-0200. (F) FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial (JAN 2017), is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition: Please see the attached RFQ terms and conditions for the submission requirements. Offerors’ quotation shall confirm to the required SOW. (G) Evaluation FAR Provision 52.212-2: The government will award a contract resulting from this request for quote (RFQ) to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the RFQ is the Lowest price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote. The lowest priced quote will be evaluated on technical acceptability, if it is found to be acceptable, an award will be made. If it is found to be unacceptable, the next lowest price will be evaluated. This process will continue until a technically acceptable offer is identified. (H) Offerors are required to include a completed copy of FAR Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items, with its Alternate I, with their offer. Offerors may complete this online at SAM: www.sam.gov. An offeror must state in their offer if they completed FAR 52.212-3 with Alternate I online and that is it up-to-date and valid.
