The United States Coast Guard is procuring an AWOS-C system. The contractor shall furnish and install electronic weather equipment, sensors, antennas, underground cabling, conduits, site work, and all other work necessary for a complete AWOS-C facility. The system will generally consist of sensors, control boards, system housings, cabling, antennas etc. The AWOS-C system shall include the capability of connection to the Air Traffic Control Tower for monitoring purposes as well as interfacing with the FAA IDS system and possibly the Automatic Terminal Information System.
