This is a sources sought notice only pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research. This is NOT a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of commercially available products/services that may be of interest to the United States Coast Guard (USCG). The USCG DOL-932 has a new requirement for Mess Attendant Services for the USCG BASE ALAMEDA, where services will be performed on-site at the dining facility. The Contractor shall ensure that these services are performed in a manner that ensures the health and safety of federal employees and members of the public; and both the sanitary conditions and esthetic appearance of federal property as required by various federal, environmental, safety and health regulations. The objective of this effort is to acquire continuous, safe, and efficient operation of Mess Attendant Services. The services shall be furnished in a manner that provides superior customer service and well-maintained facilities that present a healthy, clean, neat, and professional appearance in accordance with (IAW) all the terms and conditions of the contract. The Contractor shall perform the requirements within scope in a professional manner; Contractor tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: Serving Meals Cash Register Operations Management/Supervision Janitorial Cleaning Housekeeping NAICS Code: 722310 Food Service Contractors size standard $47.0 Million Period of Performance: The contract period of performance includes one (1) one-year base period and, if exercised by the Government, four (4) one-year option periods.? ? Base Period 01 October 2023 – 30 September 2024? Option Period One 01 October 2023 – 30 September 2025? Option Period Two 01 October 2023 – 30 September 2026? The Base Alameda Culinary Support Activity (CSA) consists of one (1) Main Dining Facility (MDF/GALLEY). CSA Alameda Dining Facility is available to all BASE ALAMEDA personnel, and base guests and visiting Dignitaries. This CSA mission is to provide critical fill TDY support to afloat units while also providing full meal service and meeting the nutritional needs of the USCG personnel at BASE ALAMEDA. All meals are cooked/prepared by USCG Culinary Specialists (CS). Culinary Specialists belong to a highly skilled workforce who specialize in advanced culinary arts, baking, accounting, inventory management, and sanitation. Breakfast Weekdays: 0630 - 0800 Breakfast Weekend/Holdiay: 0700 - 0800 Lunch Weekdays: 1100 - 1300 Lunch Weekend/Holiday: 1115 - 1230 This notice is to assist the USCG in determining potential sources only.
