The United States Coast Guard is seeking contractors interested in submitting proposals for the manufacture and delivery of Shackles for USCG Waterways Operations Product Line (WOPL) used by Aids to Navigation (ATON) at various locations throughout the U. S. Coast Guard Districts. The Shackles shall be manufactured in accordance with attached Specifications and Drawings, and delivered for provisioning to the SFLC Receiving Room, Building 88, Curtis Bay, MD 21226. Specification No. 417, Revision H.2 Drawings 121079C, 121080C This is a Sources Sought/Market Survey announcement seeking companies that can provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, facilities, transportation and supervision required to manufacture and deliver shackle assemblies, pins, and split keys. The Government anticipates issuing a single solicitation resulting in the award a Requirements Type contract with fixed-price delivery orders. The contract will include an Economic Price Adjustment for steel. The anticipated period of performance is for a base year and four option years with an expected start date on/or about December 2022. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 332111 – Iron and Steel Forging. The Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees. A small business set-aside determination will be made based upon the results of this Sources Sought notice (i.e. if enough small business interest indicates that a set-aside for small business will result in an adequate number of responses for competition purposes). All responsible sources are requested to complete and return the attached questionnaire by May 12, 2022 not later than 3:00 p.m. via email to Barbara.T.Spruill@uscg.mil.
