The purpose of this solicitation is to procure Refuse Collection and Recycling services in support of the United States Coast Guard Academy of New London, Connecticut. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Subpart 13.5 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The USCG Office of Procurement and Contracting (DOL-9) intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 and Policies in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisitions of Commercial Items. The intended purchase of services shall be in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement. (A) The solicitation number is 70Z08420QPFD00200. (B) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97. Service Contract Labor Standards Wage Determination Number 2015-4114, revision 16 dated 05/13/2020 is applicable. (C) This acquisition is issued as Unrestricted.
