This is a sources sought synopsis only pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research. This is NOT a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of commercially available products/services that may be of interest to the United States Coast Guard (USCG). The USCG DOL-932 has a requirement for full food services to be done at USCG Sector Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan starting 1 October 2020 for a base year with three one-year options. The purpose of this requirement is to obtain efficient and effective full food services at USCG Sector Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. The Contractor shall provide all food, personnel, supervision, materials and other items or services necessary to perform Full Food Service at U.S. Coast Guard Sector Sault Ste Marie, MI., in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS), except as specified as Government Furnished Property. The Contractor shall perform the requirements of this PWS in a professional manner; Contractor tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: Prepare food. Serve and replenish food. Maintain self service areas. Clean facilities, equipment, and utensils. Prepare salad and beverage bars. Clear tables in CPO and Officer’s dining area. Perform cashier services. Maintain expendable supplies and equipment. Maintain quality control. Perform maintenance and minor repair of food service equipment. Provide contingency cooks/baker upon request and in the event of emergencies. Perform all required food service tasks to ensure continued service. This notice is to assist the USCG in determining potential sources only. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information to this sources sought.
